The «VAMPIRES OF THE SEA» SURPASSES YOUR IMAGINATION! STARTLINGLY REAL! BEYOND DESCRIPTION! (Print ad-Sunday Sun,((Vancouver, BC)) 31 August 1929)
«Look, Babs! It's all mine. A financial expert gave it to me.» But when he discovers the money is bank loot!...well, you'll laugh at this chap's embarrassment. He's the hero of the funniest drama about a sleek and slippery fingered crook that Owen Davis ever wrote for stage or screen.
Every kind of love in this thrill-packed drama. The eternal mother-love. The love of brother for brother. The glorious sweetheart love of two boys for the same girl. «Our Dick» blends them all into one mighty drama. It's so real, so life-like, you're seeing a moving picture.
«Napoleon's Barber» is the talking film version of Arthur Caesar's remarkable drama, which George Bernard Shaw pronounced the finest one-act play in the English Language. (Prin Ad- The Angola Record, ((Angola, NY)) 21 February 1929)
