Director Niels Holstein Kaa is unhappy in Copenhagen. Hoping to regain faith in happiness and love he leaves Copenhagen and embarks on a journey to Yellowknife, a small Northwestern town in Canada, where he lived ten years ago. Niels' journey becomes a confrontation with the past, the present and the person he has become.
